The Prodigy® PMC2 is a powerful yet cost-effective control processor, designed by Crestron to provide a very easy solution for controlling a complete home theater media system, and enabling sophisticated home automation capabilities. From any Web browser, or using the Apple® iPhoneTM or iPod touch, Prodigy® lets you turn off the kitchen lights from your office desktop, check the security system or temperature from your favorite café, and receive an email alert when the kids get home from school
Beyond the Universal Remote
The PLX2 Prodigy® Handheld Remote (included) provides a stylish device for controlling the entire home theater and automation system. The PLX2 delivers a far richer user experience than any ordinary "universal" remote.
- Dynamic menus and scrolling lists of channels, media titles, radio stations, source selection, room lighting and temperature appear right on the remote
- Up to six PLX2s can be used with the PMC2 at distances up to 100 feet away, even through walls
The Elegant Touch Made Affordable
The Prodigy® touchpanel can also be added to a PMC2 system, providing the ultimate in customizable touchscreen control for the home theater and the entire house at a remarkably affordable cost.
- Up to six PTL4 Prodigy® wall mount touchpanels may be connected to the LAN, providing complete control over lighting, security, audio, temperature and other functions, all through a single compact device that fits in the space of a light switch
